Affiliate disclosure
How Moosir makes money — in plain language.
Moosir is reader-supported. When you buy through links on our site, we may earn an affiliate commission — at no extra cost to you.
Amazon Associates
As an Amazon Associate, Moosir earns from qualifying purchases. Moosir is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
Many of the product links and “see picks on Amazon” buttons on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, Amazon pays us a small percentage of the sale. The price you pay is exactly the same whether you use our link or not.
Other programs
We may also participate in other affiliate and advertising programs with outdoor and hunting retailers and brands. Where we do, the same rules apply: links may earn us a commission, and that never costs you anything extra.
How this affects our reviews
- Commissions never decide rankings. A product earns its place by performing in testing. We’d rather lose a commission than recommend gear we don’t believe in.
- We don’t do pay-to-play. No brand can buy a higher ranking, a guaranteed review, or a removed criticism.
- We disclose loaned gear. When a manufacturer sends a product for testing, we say so — and it doesn’t buy a positive verdict.
- Prices and availability live on Amazon. We don’t publish hard prices on our pages because they change constantly. Click through to see current, accurate pricing and stock.
In short: affiliate commissions keep Moosir free to read and independent. They fund the gear we buy and the time we spend testing — but they never buy your trust. That’s the whole point.
